CCF Annual General Inspection

The AGI took place on the new quad with the newly opened Favell Building as a fantastic backdrop to the proceedings. It seemed entirely appropriate that our Chairman of Governors Sir Robert Balchin was our inspecting officer on this our Bicentennial inspection. The day went extremely well with the recent inclement weather holding just long enough for the afternoon activities to be inspected.

The Newcastle competition was hotly contested as always and Captain Hinnell from the Royal Regiment of Fusiliers commented on the high standard of turn out and marching. School House ran out the eventual winners. Best cadet went to Tabitha Mainstone (Murray House) and best NCO went to next year’s senior cadet Carl Carlstedt (School House).
