The Sports Leadership course continued to develop this year with 22 Remove pupils involved in organising various sports events both within and outside the Foundation. While pupils in the CCF were developing their leadership skills through Army, Navy and RAF based activities, the Sports Leaders group developed theirs by planning, organising and running a range of sports events. The events, which included two Multi Sports Days, were enjoyed by pupils at Mill Hill, Belmont and Grimsdell as well as pupils from local primary schools. The group also helped to run the Mill Hill U11 Junior Tennis Open at Gosling Sports Park, Welwyn. The programme was more intensive than last year, and all our Sports Leaders rose magnificently to the challenges.
