Helmore Music Scholar, Ralph Warman, winner of the Senior Art Song Prize in the 2009 Farrow Singing Competition has just been awarded a place in the Bass section of the prestigious National Youth Choir, which tours the west coast of America this summer. They will be performing both live and on TV in Salt Lake City, San Francisco and Los Angeles as well as recording an album of music by the American choral composer Eric Whitacre.
Under Kevin Kyle’s tuition Ralph also achieved an outstandingly high distinction in his Grade 7 Associated Board Singing examination at Christmas.
