Belmont Grandparents and Grandchildren were able to enjoy time together yesterday as children welcomed their grandparents to the 15th Belmont Annual Grandparents’ Day Celebrations.
The sun shone as children took their grandparents on a tour of the school and grounds. There was an opportunity for family photographs to be taken and also the Belmont Enterprise Club organised a sale of personalised mugs for families.
The day continued with a concert in the Chapel where music was performed by groups and individuals including the Scoo-be-doo song by the Junior Choir, and The Call by the Chamber Choir. The concert was followed by a traditional school lunch of fish and chips with fruit crumble for dessert.
Once again, everyone had a good time.
