The excellent recent faith assemblies took as their unifying theme Harvest and Thanksgiving for Nature, and pupils delivered various informative presentations at each. The Christian assembly included the decoration of chapel with produce grown in the Mill Hill garden by our own Gardening Club, as well as handing out seasonal food at the end. The Jewish assembly consisted of an innovative and creative film by Tommy Lennard on the Festival of Sukkot. It includes interviews with teaching staff, and also members of the public at a QPR v Millwall football match! The Muslim assembly included a song, composed and written by pupils, and the Hindu assembly focused on various Indian festivals of thanksgiving. These assemblies continue to inform and enrich our community life as we seek to understand and celebrate spiritual insights from different traditions.
