Ambitious? Very! Possible? Of course! Worth the journey? Absolutely! With so many pupils possessing great potential and talent – it was decided that this year the Year 8 play would be a production of Pride and Prejudice which proved to be a total knockout. All cast and crew are to be commended on the excellence of the production. Despite the challenges behind such a production some comments made by the children were ‘Everyone has done a great job, especially Mr Russo’, ‘It has been great to re-enact such a well known novel. It has been an experience that I will never forget’, ‘It’s been a pleasure to work with such talented actors and actresses. I have had the best time!’. By the time the final curtain came down the audience were spellbound and the children had superseded all of the staff/parents’ greatest expectations.
