Following our ISI inspection in March, the report has now been received.
We are very pleased with the outcome of the inspection, with many aspects of the School’s life and provision deemed to be excellent. We felt that the inspectors, despite the constraints upon their time, really did manage to form a very accurate picture of our School. They commented favourably upon improvements in teaching and academic progress since the time of the last ISI Inspection in 2007 and judged the pupils’ personal and spiritual development, our pastoral systems, all aspects of boarding, and the School’s leadership and management to be excellent. All pupils have been congratulated upon the way in which they conducted themselves both in lessons and outside the classroom during the inspection period. The inspectors were warm in their praise of them and commented very favourably upon the behaviour and maturity of the pupils they met and observed.
