Invading London with 4AW

Last week Belmont took part in Eco School’s Waste Week. Our Eco monitors were asked to work with their class to become involved in a particular aspect of Waste Week which best interested them. There were some interesting activities which took place inspired by the pupils. For example, 5MS made bottle gardens and 7SF made parachutes from plastic carrier bags.

With plenty of jokes and japes, 4AW taught us all about the Roman Invasion of Britain last Friday. Told from the perspective of the Romans, the pupils educated their audience with a thorough recapping of the establishment of Londinium by Emperor Claudius. The play was completed with a rather unexpected Boudicca leading her Iceni tribe. 4AW absolutely excelled themselves with astonishing performances at every turn. Congratulations 4AW your applause was truly deserved!
