Michael Proctor Building

As we embark on the summer term we are drawing ever closer to the opening of our new Michael Proctor Building. Support for the project has been overwhelming – with a recent fundraiser appropriately called ‘The Final Countdown’ exceeding all expectations. Held at Lord’s Cricket grounds, the sumptuous gala was hugely supported by our Belmont families both in organisation and attendance. The school must especially thank Mr Priestnall, Mrs Fox, Mr Pelham, Mrs Whitworth, Mrs Forte, Mrs Maister, Mrs Demetriades and especially Mrs Ward for their gargantuan effort shaping the occasion.

The building boasts two state of the art science labs, six large classrooms and an airy assembly hall. Designed to provide a huge boost to the already impressive facilities at Belmont, the development of the building endorses the commitment of the school to continually strive for improvement. We are immensely proud of the new building and believe it will prove to be an important investment in our children’s futures.

The Michael Proctor Building is due to be opened on Friday 4th July by Lord Robert Winston.
