Our Year 4 ventured to Celtic Harmony to discover what life was like for people who lived in the Iron Age over 2000 years ago. They spent their day exploring the settlement and learning skills such as spinning, grinding grain and hunter-gatherer trading that would have come in useful should they have lived so long ago. Having such a hand’s on experience really made our pupils appreciate just how different life was in Britain over 2000 years ago, all returning to Belmont after a great experience happy and relieved that things have changed ever so slightly.
