Jacqueline Harvey, bestselling author of the popular Alice-Miranda and Clementine Rose series, stopped by the other day to visit our Year 3’s. Harvey gave a talk to our youngest year group sharing both her stories and exclusive author tips. All the children had a thoroughly enjoyable morning and we thank Jacqueline for taking time out of her busy schedule to come and visit us!

“I really enjoyed the talk that Jacqueline gave because it was entertaining and made me laugh but it was also informative about how she goes about writing and why she writes. She told some interesting and exciting stories about her early life and gave some tempting clues about her stories… I quite like writing stories and Jacqueline gave me some encouraging advice. I hope I am an author when I grow up”
