On Monday 6th March Nursery had a delivery of 6 duck eggs. After waiting very patiently all week the ducklings started to hatch. The children learnt how to care for a living animal and began to find out about life cycles. The children observed the changes that took place over the 2 weeks and were introduced to lots of new vocabulary which will help to extend their understanding of the world. We had an exciting 2 weeks with ducklings. Now they have gone back to the farm in Norfolk.
