Cricket Triumph for Mill Hill

Our 1st XI captain for last season (2017), Ethan Bamber has been selected for the England Young Lions winter squad and is also selected to tour South Africa in November. Ethan joined the school and has played a major part in on-field success. He is not only a fantastic Cricketer who is dedicated to his development, he is an even better young man,  and someone we are very proud of at Mill Hill. He captained the 1st XI this summer and lead us to one of our most successful seasons in over 10 years. This coupled with him being leading wicket taker and the second highest run scorer. Ethan last season and this season has represented Middlesex CCC 2nd XI on many occasions and has also been part of the Middlesex Academy. In addition to the high volume of cricket played Ethan also played for Berkshire CCC 1st XI. To add to his very busy commitment to the game he also managed to excel in his A levels and begin his first year at Exeter University.

As I have previously mentioned Ethan is someone we are hugely proud of at Mill Hill. He’s the ideal role model to our young cricketers coming through.

It’s been and still is a pleasure to work with you.
