Enterprise Education

Enterprise Education began at Mill Hill in 2009, and a group of daring Remove students decided to try their hands at becoming young entrepreneurs. In the year that followed, the team decided to make everything between mobile phone covers and personalised hoodies. The students took on positions of responsibility, organised their own meetings and even opened a business bank account. Most importantly though, each student learned that running a business is not easy, and requires patience and cooperation.

Since then, new groups of Remove students have split into two competing groups with different aims and visions. Last year one group focused on producing a DVD about the school, and another tried their hands at personalised stationery. In our most exciting year ever, two remove teams are going head to head to generate maximum profit. One group has sold hand-warmers and the other is focusing on luxury bottled water. All groups benefitted from the experience of their predecessors and learned the importance of hard work in business.
