Dr Dominic Luckett was educated at the University of Leicester, where he obtained a first class honours degree, and at Magdalen College, Oxford, where he researched for his doctorate on early Tudor history. He began his career at Harrow School, where he taught, latterly as Head of History and an assistant house master, for eleven years before moving on to Worth School as Deputy Head. He has published a number of articles in historical books and journals, and is a serving inspector with the Independent Schools’ Inspectorate. Married to Cara, a barrister specialising in clinical negligence, he enjoys paragliding, skiing and hill-walking.
