The past decade has seen the most exciting period of redevelopment and building in the history of Mill Hill School. The centrepiece of this development is the magnificent Favell Building which offers spectacular accommodation for the Humanities and for Languages. Favell is linked by glass bridges to the Marnham Block which has itself been the subject of major redevelopment in recent years.
In the Stoa redevelopment, the school received up to date facilities for the teaching of art, music, CDT and IT as well as a marvellous new library facility.
On the sporting front, the Sports Hall has been upgraded, new Fives Courts built, and the new Angela Rumbold Swimming Pool opened.
Summer 2007 will see the completion of the Patrick Troughton Theatrre development. This facility will complement the new Studio Theatre.
There has also been major refurbishment of all the Houses – both day and boarding – and the opening of two new dining facilities.
A major refurbishment of the School House building started in July 2007 and plans are being drawn up for the redevelopment of the School’s science facilities.
