1912 Natural History Trip

This wonderful photograph shows an outing of the Natural History Club in 1912. The very tall boy on the left is Arthur Cullen Pearse, who grew to 6′ 7″ while a pupil at Mill Hill. Pearse survived service in the Great War but was killed in action fighting with the Allied Intervention Force during the Russian Civil War in 1919.
