Sri Jayendra School

We support the Sri Jayendra School in Tamil Nadu in several ways:

Fundraising

We have financed the building of the Mill Hill Silver Jubilee Block. It houses the library, computer labs and conference centre. We have also built the theatre, basketball court, science labs, several classrooms and other facilities.

Supporting Children

People connected with Mill Hill sponsor over 150 pupils. These include two special groups - the ‘Little Monks’ and the Tsunami Orphans.

Teaching English

Each year a dozen or so Mill Hill sixth formers spend July at Sri Jayendra teaching conversational English.

Teacher Exchanges

We fund teachers from India to visit Mill Hill, observe our system and exchange ideas.
