This week saw the Upper Sixth drama class excel themselves with two excellent performances of their devised drama The King of the East. Set in London’s east end in the 1960s the play followed the final year in the life of fictional Gangster ‘Digsy’. The cast excelled themselves with the fluid incorporation of a huge range of Frantic Assembly techniques and created movement sequences which were thrilling, dynamic, beautiful and tender.
Congratulations to Will, Leo, Daisy, Azzurra, Noah, Braden and Oscar for a very well-produced play. Thanks also go to Jasper and Rory for giving up their time as technicians for the show.
