3D Design Club

The Year 7 and Year 8 3D Design Club have been using the Printlab resources, with the support of Create Education, to study the design architecture of the Watch Towers of the Great Wall of China and then create their own version on the Tinkercad software. The pupils have been massively engaged with the challenge and they see the potential that 3D Design and Printing has for them, both now, and in a future career. ‘Henry’, our 3D printer has been buzzing away producing these models that have combined to create a fantastic display. There is no stopping them now, already we have moved on and are designing Self-watering planters.

I am so proud of the effort and enthusiasm they have shown and they have taken, what is a very difficult subject and really excelled at it.
