The children arrived in Nursery on Monday to find that it had been transformed into a beautiful Christmas themed classroom. The children have then spent the week creating wonderful Christmas decorations, cards, and calendars.
The children found a very cheeky Elf in school as well, he left us a little note telling us he would be reporting on our behaviour back to Santa and that each day he would bring us a new book to read. The children have loved seeing what the Elf has been up to each night in their classroom.
The children have enjoyed decorating the classroom by making paper chains and hanging decorations with beads. The children have made some wonderful Christmas cards and special hats for our Christmas sing-along.
We also made Christmas lists by cutting out pictures of toys from a catalogue that we might like for Christmas and sticking them on our list.
The children were wonderful in the whole school Nativity production, they sang beautifully and we were so impressed with their confidence on stage.
