What an exciting week we have had!
This week in Reception we have been learning more about Dinosaurs and researching them in detail. We have been teaching our classes how to scan a QR code which has taken them to a link of a fact video to watch. We have been exploring non-fiction books and how we can gather information from them.
During maths we have been looking further at measurement and this week have explored weight. We have been comparing weight of animals, balancing the scales using different objects and consolidating language linked to weight – light, heavy, lightest and heaviest.
In phonics we have been looking at the digraphs ch, sh, th and ng. We have been spotting these in words and giving our best effort to remember them. I wonder if you and your child can spot any in the reading books.
A big WELL DONE to RAB for their fantastic assembly this week, it was fantastic to learn so much about Chinese New Year!
