This year we combined Outdoor Learning Day with May Day for a fun packed day of exciting activities, all of which took place outside of the classroom.
The May Pole dance workshop was a highlight with each class learning a routine and dancing in time to some lovely traditional country music.
A story walk took place in Forest School where the children wowed us with their imaginative story telling from pictures dotted around the forest.
Art was on a BIG scale and included using loose parts to recreate underwater scenes and brushes, mops and rollers to do some very large and collaborative painting.
Creativity was oozing out of every inch of Grimsdell’s grounds, and the children went home suitably tired. A fantastic day has been had by all!
