Wow, what a week in Reception. I’m sure you will all agree the children put on an absolutely fabulous show and it was a real delight watching them dancing and singing. What a treat to perform in a REAL theatre. We would all like say a huge thank you to Ms Gale for making it so special and for making us all such amazing costumes.
We had a super week, helping to make some of the props for the show in our creative areas. We made snappy crabs and animated them on the iPads. For PSED we read the book ‘Shark in the Park’ by Nick Sharratt and learnt about the value of working together. Many children decided to make their own telescopes after reading the story and this really was evidence of how working together and helping each other makes a task much easier.
