St Bees is the smallest of the Boarding Houses, and has space for fourteen boys, all of whom are allocated comfortable study bedrooms. We currently accept lower school pupils from Year 9 – 11.
As well as being an updated Boarding House, blending traditional and modern boarding styles, the House is also situated in the heart of the school, in close proximity to all the school’s excellent facilities. We have our own grounds surrounding the house, within the beautiful landscaped surroundings of the main school site.
The House is supported by a dedicated Day Matron as well as a team of teachers and tutors who all contribute to the wonderful and exuberant atmosphere we have created here. The boys thrive in this positive environment. For almost all our arrivals, this will be their first experience of boarding life. My own experiences of boarding school and the varied skills and experiences of my team, mean that pupils are quick to adapt to boarding life and flourish within the House and school.
We look forward to seeing St Bees continuing to offer a fantastic boarding experience to all who join us.
