Patrick Troughton Theatre Opened

Patrick Troughton Theatre and Dalek

After extensive refurbishment, the School theatre was renamed in honour of Patrick Troughton – one of the most distinguished actors to have been a pupil at Mill Hill. Although best known for his portrayal of Doctor Who, he had a long and distinguished career in theatre, film and on television. As part of the naming ceremony, a group of Mill Hill theatre studies students presented audition pieces and excerpts from recent productions and a there was a surprise appearance by a dalek – probably Doctor Who’s most famous adversary.

As well as staging drama events, The Patrick Troughton Theatre will be the venue for the forthcoming Lecture Series evenings.
