Our lecturer on 21st January was James Geary who explored the fascinating world of aphorisms and metaphors – and juggling balls!The last two lectures of the season focus on Prime Ministers and the story of Alexander Litvinenko. On February 4th, we welcome Professor Peter Hennessy whose Queen Mary University Lecture is titled “Watching Prime Ministers”, and to round off the series, The Francis Crick Lecturer is Dr Geoff Bellingan who will visit on 4th March to give us a first-hand account of the last days of poisoned Russian exile, Alexander Litvinenko.
