On Thursday 19th March Year 5 went to Mill Hill Senior School to take part in a CSI ‘Whodunnit?’ style science investigation. Our eager faced investigators faced challenges in Physics (ballistics), Biology (fingerprints) and Chemistry (identifying substances), using the gathered clues to find out who the probable guilty person was out of a trio of likely suspects. The pupils were highly engaged in their quest, gaining further experience in what it is like to study in a senior school environment. All thoroughly enjoyed their special afternoon to celebrate National Science Week, with the vast majority solving the fictitious crime scene and many were heard to say they couldn’t wait to study science further when they are older.
