A HUGE thank you to all the families, staff, Olcar Walsh of ‘Wildhorse’ for the stunning programme, all our advertisers, the lovely volunteers/class reps who helped to set up the event, and of course our very generous sponsors for helping to make Winter Wonderland 2016 such a special, fun-filled, successful event!
With your enthusiastic attendance we can confirm Winter Wonderland made a profit of just over £10,000, which will go to our 2 chosen charities, (Grief Encounter and Children with Cancer UK) and to the school.
Well done to gap student Liam Snaddon on his winning performance on Last Man Standing, snatching the title from Mr Symes (who blames lack of sleep caused by his baby son!). Many thanks to the staff and teachers for being such good sports and pulling in this crowds again for the ‘Teachers’ round. The whole day was such a lively, fun-filled event and it was so great to see so many families there enjoying themselves and creating such a lovely, warm (despite the weather) atmosphere!
