- Candidates invited to attend for interviews with the Headmaster and senior staff

- References are requested from the Heads of candidates' present schools
- Monday 12th December 2011
- Closing date for Art, DT, Drama, Music and Sports Award applications
- Thursday 5th January 2012
- Letters sent out to all 13+ and 14+ candidates, confirming the dates of the examinations/auditions/assessments for which they are entered
- Saturday 14th January 2012
- Entrance Examinations are held at the School (8.45am to 3.00pm approx.)
- Monday 16th January 2012
- Latin Examinations (Optional)
- Wednesday 18th and Thursday 19th January 2012
- Music and Drama Award auditions and interviews are held at the School
(Attendance may be required on either of these days)
- Friday 20th January 2012
- Art and DT Award interviews
- Friday 20th January 2012
- Candidates selected for Scholarship interviews are notified
- Monday 23rd January 2012
- Sports Award Trials (all day)
- Wednesday 25th and Thursday 26th January 2012
- Academic Scholarship Interviews for those candidates selected

- Results of all Examinations, Scholarships and other awards are posted to parents

- Deadline for acceptance of an offer of a place

- Candidates from preparatory schools sit Common Entrance Examinations

- Academic Scholarship Examinations are held at the School (For overseas candidates, special arrangements are made and candidates do not necessarily need to be in the UK for this date)

- Academic Scholarship interviews (dates arranged individually) for candidates selected by the School on the basis of their performance in the Scholarship Examinations
