Mill Hill is well known for the wealth of opportunities on offer in the creative arts. The facilities in the Music, Art and Design, Design Technology and Drama and Theatre Studies Departments have all been the subject of significant investment in the past decade. This year we are seeing the major redevelopment of the School’s traditional main stage which will now complement the separate Patrick Troughton Theatre and the Drama Studio. The main stage will provide a privileged performance space for the three schools in the Foundation.

All the creative departments make full use of London’s importance as a cultural centre, regularly taking pupils to exhibitions, plays, concerts and recitals. There are also many opportunities to travel further afield, for instance to study at the Centre for Alternative Technology in Snowdonia, to play at the Edinburgh Festival or to visit galleries in New York City and Venice. A significant number of Millhillians go on to further study at top institutions for Music, Theatre Studies, Fine Art, Architecture and various forms of Design before commencing exciting careers in their chosen fields.
