Suzanne Reynolds

Cedars Housemistress

After seven years’ teaching experience at other schools, Suzanne Reynolds joined Mill Hill in 2008 as Head of the Physical Education department, Mistress in charge of Girls Games and Co-ordinator of the Sports Scholars. Suzanne is an enthusiastic and respected teacher and also has experience as an examiner for Edexcel GCSE PE. She becomes Housemistress of Cedars with effect from September 2010 and is greatly looking forward to the challenges and opportunities that the role presents; she is wholeheartedly committed to providing excellent pastoral care to the pupils in her House and hopes to bring to running Cedars the same levels of energy and commitment with which she approaches every other aspect of School life.

Suzanne Reynolds was born, brought up and educated in Sligo in Ireland and speaks fluent French, having spent the best part of a year working in a ‘lycée’ after finishing her Sports Science degree. She completed her preparation for a career in education by undertaking a PGCE at the University of Exeter. Her greatest passion away from School is travelling and she lists her interests as languages, culture, food and watersports (especially scuba diving and kitesurfing). In addition to her involvement in the mainstream games programme, Suzanne also takes pupils skiing and snowboarding every Tuesday afternoon.
