Middlesex Cup Success

The Belmont 1st XI won the Middlesex Cup narrowly beating Hampton School by 4 runs in a nerve-wracking final. Talented captain Adam Rossington, who scored 110 not out, was ably supported by Viresh Patel (27), Josh Leader (26) and bowler Joe Wray. Adam, now in the Fourth Form at Mill Hill, is playing for Middlesex and he is also part of the Lords Academy and represents the South of England. Not only did he break a long-standing county record held by ex-England cricketer Mark Ramprakash for his batting, he was also awarded the best player in the South of England, gaining a two-year sponsorship deal with Gray Nicholls. Adam has continued in his winning ways since moving up to Mill Hill. He has been a regular in the 1st XI cricket team and was one of the Golf Academy side that came third in HMC National Finals.
