The Mill Hill School Foundation

As a Foundation we seek to instil a love for learning which will last a life time, whilst balancing this with a readiness to embrace change. Dating back to 1807, The Foundation includes our Pre-Prep, Grimsdell; our Prep, Belmont, Mill Hill Senior School, The Mount, Mill Hill International and our most recent addition, Cobham Hall in Kent. Our Mill Hill Schools are set in over 150 acres of beautiful, green grounds.

Our School

Mill Hill International is a leading co-educational day and boarding school, educating students aged between 13 and 17. The School occupies an enviable location just a short tube ride from central London. We believe that the fresh air and open space which we enjoy enhances the Mill Hill experience for pupils and staff alike. We are a happy school, with a spring in its step; as much a family as a community.

Located within its own newly refurbished campus just a short walk from the main Mill Hill School site, the international school students have full use of the senior school’s excellent facilities, including an indoor heated swimming pool, sports hall, library, theatre and music department. Boarders are accommodated in Boarding Houses at the heart of the Mill Hill campus, in a homely and comfortable environment.

Academic

Mill Hill International offers a broad range of academic programmes, lasting from one term to two years. In each course there is a wide choice of academic subjects, and co-curricular activities complement the academic programme. Class sizes are small, with no more than 12 students per class.

Pastoral Care

Many of our pupils are far from home and family for the first time so we take our pastoral care extremely seriously, it is at the heart of every pupil’s success. We will look after your child as if they were our family, whether a day or boarding pupil, the Housemaster/Housemistress together with a team of Tutors will provide an environment that is both caring and supportive.

Boarding

Set within a wonderful 150-acre campus, our four purpose-built Boarding Houses provide the space for 195 full and weekly Boarders to rest, relax, complete prep, wash and socialise. Boarding at Mill Hill facilitates rich experiences which develop personal skills for well rounded adults to live fulfilling lives.
