Junior Tennis Open

In the Summer term, Mill Hill hosted the 2nd Junior Tennis Open for Under 11s in conjunction with Gosling Sports Park, Welwyn. Once again, 12 feeder schools participated in a full day of tennis, and it was encouraging to see Belmont pupil Orchid Saber-Pillai winning the girls competition, beating Lucy Booth (Newberries) in the final. The boys competition was won by the talented Marc Huttman (St Anthony’s) who beat fellow St Anthony’s pupil, Jack Heslin.

To add to the excitement of the day, British Davis Cup Professional Jamie Delgado presented the trophies and prizes, and also organised some fun competitive games on court for all the participants.
