Our 6th Formers have yet again returned a very pleasing set of A2 and AS Level results. Over 64% of A Level exams were graded A or B, with this figure rising to 86% at grades A, B or C.
Department highlights this year include German (100% A/B), Geography (91% A/B), Mathematics (83% A/B), Art (82% A/B), Drama (82% A/B), Design Technology (80% A/B) and Government and Politics (72.2% A/B).
The Creative Arts have had a particularly successful year. The excellent Art and Design Technology A2 grades were also reflected by the AS results where 73.1% of our students gained A or B grades, whilst in Drama nearly 79% of candidates were graded A or B.
Success in A2 exams mean that all of our Oxbridge candidates have secured their places, and our 2007 leavers have been offered coveted places at a total of 40 different universities nationwide. The most popular university destination is once more Imperial College London, with six candidates successfully securing places there this year.
