Charities Win With Cross Country Race

Cross Country Runners

Ten charities ended up winners when runners in the 2008 Inter-House Cross Country Race were sponsored by family and friends. Everyone took part, whether budding athletes or ‘fun-runners’, with competitors categorised by age or year group – and our proud winners were Katie Ardrey, Oliver Bass, Richard Whelan, Jack Weller, Louis Bendien and Elspeth Lawson.

This year’s chosen charities are United Kingdom Thalassaemia, NSPCC, The Prince’s Trust, Cancer Research, Bottoms Up, Cherry Lodge Cancer Care, British Gurkha Welfare Society, Teenage Cancer Trust, North London Hospice and Michael Sobell House.

Well done to all our pupils for their efforts during the race and for their fundraising throughout the year.
