There’s a series of special Friends events planned for the autumn term which include a Reunion for Old Millhillians who left before 1960 (Sat 26 September), and another of our ever-popular evenings at the London opera (Sat 10 October). We are also launching an exciting new inter-schools choral singing programme to run in the autumn term of 2009, with a series of workshops leading to a combined concert in December. The concert, which will raise money for teenage cancer charity Teens Unite, will feature a special guest appearance by the author and comedian Terry Jones. Additionally, all of the schools taking part will perform the Christmas cantata Manger Tom which will be accompanied by a live band and narrated by Terry Jones.
