Dramatically engaging and musically rewarding – this Dream succeeded in marrying the work’s fantastical exuberance with its disturbing undercurrents and elements of farce and illusion and took the audience between the human world of Athens and the dream-world of the forest. Sensational staging, lighting, costumes, music and acting skills all came together this week at Belmont when Year 8 performed their annual play. This magical play entranced the audience and will be remembered by all involved for a very long time!
