Arrangements for Public Examinations from 11th January

The School fully intends to run all public examinations, even if the School has to be closed for normal lessons for day pupils. It will not be possible to re-schedule any examinations as the timetable already published by the examination boards has to be adhered to. Day pupils should consider what emergency arrangements they may be able to make in order to travel to school to sit their examinations in the event of further bad weather. For those pupils unable to sit an examination next week due to travel and weather difficulties, the School may be able to submit a request for Special Consideration and most exams (other than legacy A2 examinations) can be sat in May/June instead. However, candidates should sit their January examinations if it is at all possible for them to do so.
