Most Successful England Cricket Captain Visits Mill Hill

Michael Vaughan

In advance of the forthcoming cricket tour to India, Mill Hill School were delighted to welcome Michael Vaughan on 3rd March to meet the squad and have an informal knock-about on the all-weather pitch.

Under the glare of the floodlights, each member of the squad took turns in bowling to England’s most successful cricket captain with the ultimate incentive of crying ‘owzat’ against such prestigious opposition. Ironic that just such a wicket was taken by one of our rising stars, Adam Rossington who caught Michael off a ball from Vatsal Kanoria.

The afternoon was rounded off by a small reception in the Sixth Form Common Room where members of the squad, captained by Benedict Relf, and their parents were able to talk to Michael and pose questions about his career and achievements.
