Belmont’s second Reading Week was officially opened in Assembly by the world famous author Mark Billingham. The winners of the Book Review Competition were Miranda Bell and Jason Lee who received their prizes from Mr Billingham. Mr Billingham also met Joshua Jackson (pictured). During the week there were visits from several authors, workshops, play presentations and Year 8 visited the British Library. The Book Fair provided a popular attraction and over 550 books were purchased. The Lower School (and staff) enjoyed dressing up as book characters and the winners were: Year 3 Tara F, Year 4 Jake C and Year 5 Lorena C.
