End of Term Message

This term has been busy as usual with scholarship exams and auditions, swimming galas, national general knowledge quizzes, four informal concerts, reading week, Y6 leadership training, French Exchange, Y4 Hindu Temple trip, Y5 Hatfield House trip, History Club trip and a staff netball match which the children enjoyed watching. On top of all this various events took place to raise money for Japan (Save the Children), Comic Relief and the Noah’s Ark Children’s Hospice. The children have worked very hard this term and have certainly earned a well deserved rest! During the holidays, our School Nurse, Rose McGinness, will be taking part in this year’s London Marathon, where she hopes to raise money for the Roy Castle Lung Cancer Foundation. Her training programme has been of great interest to the many budding athletes at Belmont who have watched her progress with enthusiasm and admiration. Good luck on April 17th Rose!
