The Autumn Term gets off to a rousing start on 8th September with record numbers of new pupils joining current pupils to experience the wide and varied curriculum opportunities offered at Belmont. Shortly after starting Year 7 will experience a Team Bonding Session which involves an overnight stay in tents! All pupils are also allocated a ‘Buddy’ right from the start of term which is especially valuable for new pupils. The term will continue with Sports events commencing almost immediately and the annual ‘Belmont Putter’ which is open to children and their families to take part. The term will continue with emphasis in assembly on Harvest, Buddhism and Divali. There will be an Anti-Bullying week and later in the term Year 8 will do their Mock Common Entrance Exams whilst years 5-7 do their Class Tests. The Activities Programme will start Week commencing Monday 20th September. The annual Grandparents Day will take place on 30th September.
