Grimsdell children were thrilled this week when Mrs Elder – who recently retired from teaching at Grimsdell – returned with her Harris Hawk ‘Harley’ for a display on the main lawn. The Harris Hawk is one of the most popular Falconry birds, and is now widely regarded as the ideal beginner’s bird for those interested in falconry.
