Year 6 visited Northern France, staying at a holiday centre near Etaples. It was a very busy three days including a visit to Nausicaa Aquarium, trying sand sailing and meeting French pupils in a school, with whom they had previously corresponded. They were able to use their French skills to buy items in Etaples weekly market and experienced the atmosphere of Etaples Military Cemetery.
Hopefully all of Year 6 not only enjoyed the experience, but gained new social skills in living in a different environment. Their behaviour was exemplary and they were excellent ambassadors for Belmont. Thank you to all the staff who accompanied the trip (some at very late notice).
