The Easter break saw our Cricket and Netball teams heading to Antigua for the experience of a lifetime. Both teams were able to achieve excellent results and learn news skills in their sport, despite having to adapt to the heat and very different playing services from home. They also had the opportunity to play beside the Antiguan children, it was an eye opening experience for the students to see how successful the Antiguans could be with very little in the way of resources and nothing but their determination to succeed.
During the tour the children had the chance to meet up with Sir Viv Richards, who is not only a former West Indian Cricket Captain but who was also born in Antigua. All agreed it was one of their highlights from a fantastic trip.
