Belmont joined the rest of the Nation in a red, white and blue ‘Jubilee Street Party’ on Friday 1st June. Children and staff turned up wearing everything from a union flag bow tie to flashing glasses and wigs. One person even had a toy Corgi tied to her belt! The festive lunch included such traditional delicacies as sausage rolls, cupcakes, teatime sandwiches and jelly for the children. The staff meanwhile tucked into a feast of scotch eggs, pork pies and good old-fashioned jammy sponge cake.
