Year 6 travelled to Hendon RAF Museum to experience life in wartime Britain during World War II. They were given the opportunity to learn about the Blitz and how it affected the people of Britain and even to see the airplanes that played crucial roles in the Battle of Britain. By far the favourite activity was to take part in a 1939 classroom, including hiding under the desks when the air raid siren sounded.
