On Friday 6th March Year 4 visited the Bhaktivedanta Manor Hindu Temple in Aldenham, as part of the RE curriculum. The day was packed with creative story-telling, dressing up in beautiful traditional costumes, a bull-cart ride, a tour of the beautiful grounds, including visiting the ‘George Harrison Gardens’ and being involved in a Puja ceremony in their shrine room. The children really enjoyed the trip, which proved to be an invaluable experience. It was a great opportunity to reinforce their knowledge of Hinduism.
